Synopsis
An historical musical with Liza Minnell and Joel Grey at their best. A tense drama, with rich atmosphere, dark humor, and fabulous choreography by director Bob Fosse. Won 8 Oscars.
In Berlin in 1931, American cabaret singer Sally Bowles (Liza Minnelli) meets British academic Brian Roberts (Michael York), who is finishing his university studies. A love triangle ensues against the rise of the Nazi party and the collapse of the Weimar Republic.
