A Piercingly funny, loving ode to the human battle between holding on and letting go.
With: Antonia Banewicz, Jocelyn Benford, Marjorie Burren, Julia Gasca, Davana May, Clau Menchaca.
“The Dinosaurs” is an intimate and powerful new play by award-winning playwright and mental health counselor Jacob Perkins. Inspired by the stories heard and told when a space feels safe for one to open up, the play is at the same time intimate, funny and compassionate.
In the same room at the same hour each week, a group of women gather together to speak and listen. The world changes around them but the relationship they’ve built keeps them coming back time and time again, to the space that helps them to survive together.
A sharply funny, loving ode to how we hold onto and let go of friends, our worries and our love.
We want to see you in La Biblioteca!
