Experience the San Miguel Playreaders’ love for theater through their staged reading on the Teatro Santa Ana.

“God of Carnage” is a comedy of manners…without the manners.  Two sets of parents
meet to discuss a playground fight that occurred between their disparate sons.  What begins as a
civil meeting devolves into indoor fireworks. 
A hilarious, Tony award-winning play by the French playwright ,Yasmina Reza,
translated by Christopher Hampton (originally Le Dieu du carnage). 
We are pleased to present two real-life married couples : Antonia Banewicz & Frank
Freschet portraying the Raleighs and Catherine Bryne & Marc Taylor as the Novaks.  
Gene Harvey directs, Roger Johns will man the teleprompter and Miguel Torres is our
lights and sound engineer.
