The Fourth Transformation of México: A New Regime for the 21st Century
Session 2: The 2018 election: The arrival to power
The 2018 presidential election finally brought Andrés Manuel López Obrador to power. As he was being sworn into office, his vision of a strong presidency, an end to neoliberalism, and the removal of conservatives from the top echelons of government was already taking shape.
In his second “Mexico Conversation” of the week, Carlos Navarro will shine a light on the changes López Obrador’s six-year term introduced to the nation’s political system, public administration, and foreign policy.
