Basada en la célebre obra teatral de Ariel Dorfman, Death and the Maiden es un intenso

Ambientada en un país sudamericano que emerge de la dictadura, la historia sigue a Paulina (Sigourney Weaver), una ex prisionera política que está convencida de haber encontrado frente así al hombre que la torturó cuando un extraño (Ben Kingsley) entra inesperadamente en su casa.
