In this session, we took a closer look at the trees growing around the school, observing their shapes, leaves, and the many forms of life they support.

The Eco Niños learned to identify different trees and discovered that they are much more than just plants. Trees provide shade, clean air, and shelter for countless living creatures—especially birds—making them essential partners in sustaining life.

Together, the children planted new trees and dug watering basins around existing ones to help capture and retain rainwater.

They also used tools such as Google Lens to identify tree species, played a bird bingo game, and built bird feeders that are now regularly visited by local birds.

Through these activities, they discovered that trees are shared habitats and that by observing them closely, we can uncover the many lives they support.
